From 26th February to 9th of March, the Domaine Equestre des Grands Pins will be hosting for the fifth consecutive year the “VIDAUBAN DRESSAGE FESTIVAL” (formerly Spring Tour), a three star international dressage competition. This event is THE competitive rendez vous of the beginning of the equestrian year.
The 2014 edition will draw attention with two big competitions each weekend:
FEI Nations Cup Dressage
27th February to 2nd March
Created in 2013 by the FEI, this circuit team attracts many countries. Real training for high level events like the European championship, the World Equestrian Games or the Olympic Games, the new edition will be composed by seven legs (Wellington, Vidauban, Rotterdam, Kristiansand, Aix-la-Chapelle and Devon).
Minimum four teams shall take part, composed by three or four riders. The ranking will be on the GP3* which is planned on the Friday 28th of February.
World Dressage Masters – CDI5*
6th to 9th March
Elite competition, the WDM was founded in 2008. This year, four cities are going to receive the best riders and horses in the world: Vidauban, Munich, Falsterbo and Mechelen. Maximum 20 riders can compete in the CDI5* with a prize money of 100 000 €.
