Show Jumping CSI5* Small Tour 2 phases competition
Michel Hecart of France won 6.250€ prize money on Nokia de Brekkain the 1.45m Two Phases.
Michel said: “I prefer to compete in the Middle East as I like to ride outdoors. I haven’t ridden in Doha before though. AL SHAQAB is an incredible venue. I found riding the course easy as it’s the first event of the week.”
Of designing a course for CHI AL SHAQAB, British Show Jumping Course Designer Bob Ellis said “It’s amazing. I’ve never seen a stadium like it. The lights are fantastic. The fences, the footing, the stadium itself –it’s just magnificent. “

1st Place – Michel Hecart of France on Nokia De Brekka won6.250€
2rd Place – Nicola Philippaerts of Belgium on Casana won 5.000€
3rd Place – SteveGuerdatof Switzerland on Sidney VIIII won 3.750€
Show Jumping CSI5* Big Tour Fault &Time competition
Michael Whitaker of the United Kingdom won 7.500€ prize money on Amai.
Michael said: “Winning so early in the competition definitely gives you confidence. It’s better than knocking three down!“ Of riding in the heat of the Middle East, he added: “I’m sure that the heat helps the horses perform. They don’t seem to get jet lag either”.

2nd Place – Luciana Diniz of Portugal on Upper Start won 6.000€
3rd Place- Shane Breen of Ireland on Confident of Victory won 4.500€
