1st Place – Jasmin Lindner and Lukas Wacha of Austria on KCM Vaultinhorses Bram with Lunger Mauritz De Vrieswon 4.875€
2nd Place – Stefan Csandl and Theresa Thiel of Austria on KCM Vaulting horses Bram with Lunger Mauritz De Vries won 3.750€
3rd Place– Pia Engelberty and Torben Jacobs of Germany on Triple with Lunger Meta Jans Rooijmans won 2.625€
Winner Lukas Wacha said: “Its my first time in Doha, and I’m really enjoying the wonderful facilities and the nice hotel. I am very glad to be able to compete at CHI AL SHAQAB. It’s a lot of pressure, but at the same time we need to perform well.”

1st Place – Squad VV Köln Dünnwald of Germany on Holiday on Ice E with Lunger Alexandra Knauf won 5.220€
2nd Place – Squad Neuss Grimlinghausen of Germany on Delia 99 with Lunger Jessica Schmitz won 4.090€
3rd Place – Squad Harlekin of Switzerland on Pady de Jean Bel with Lunger Rita Blieske won 2.965€
Jonna Hohbach, the 11year old member of winning squad VV Köln Dünnwald said she started vaulting aged 5. Of competing in CHI AL SHAQAB she said: “It’s very cool to compete at such a big competition.” She was very excited to be part of the squad in Doha and said she will definitely continue vaulting in the future.
Fellow team member Corinna Knauf said: “Apart from the Team Neuss show at [CHI AL SHAQAB 2013] vaulting has never been seen in the Middle East. I think it’s very interesting for people and this competition definitely helped to raise the profile for vaulting as a CHI competition.”
Mrs. Helma Schwarzmann, President of the Ground Jury explained: “We go by the rule book and we usually have to judge up to 80-100 individuals and in Doha it was luckily less. We saw some kids from the audience who screamed: ‘Mummy, I want to do this as well which was very encouraging for all of us.”
