The Royal Windsor Horse Show gets underway today and dressage is back on the programme!  The invitational Advanced Medium Freestyle gets the dressage underway at 14.00 today and it’s an exciting start list with some great combinations including Michael Eilberg and Woodlander Farouche. Tomorrow the CDI gets underway with the grand prix in the evening – and the weather forecast looks fair so the 6.30pm start will be ideal. On to Freestyle on Friday with the same start time.

Charlotte Dujardin heads the home team with her Saumur winner Uthopia, owned by Carl Hester and Sasha Stewart while mentor Carl brings his own and Jane De La Mare’s Nip Tuck. Michael Eilberg has his 2013 European Championship partner Half Moon Delphi, owned by the Deverills who also bred her. World Class Development squad riders Nikki Crisp and Lara Grifitth complete the British contingent. Nikki rides her long term partner Pasoa while Lara has Andretti H, owned by the Bechtolsheimers.

British based ‘foreign’ riders Dane Rawlins (IRE), Roland Tong (IRE), Anders Dahl (DEN), Ulrik Molgaard (DEN) and Louis Principe (POR) are also amongst the entries.
