Studfarm Zangersheide also shopped at the auction held after the Westfalian stallion selection. Exactly one year after the arrival of Solid Gold Z at Zangersheide now a second son of Stakkato Gold is welcomed there. That is not surprising, because Stakkato Gold is the absolute leader in the German ‘Zuchtwertschätzung’ (genetic evaluation of the FN) with six points more than his sire Stakkato. Cross this blood with Cornet Obolensky, the number 2 on the WBFSH-ranking, and you get the genetic pearl called Sir Obolensky Z. The star of the last stallion selection in Westfalia excelled with his incomparable technique and suppleness. The beautiful grey was therefore one of the record breakers of the auction. Sir Obolensky Z is the half-brother of Coupie (Coupe de Coeur), the 2012 champion of the Westfalian stallion selection. Dam First Cornet earlier produced the licensed stallion Celensky and the excellent showjumping horse Quit Right ridden by Jan Sprehe. First Cornet is also a sister of the 1m50 level showjumping horse Paganini 82.
