Netherlands: 2015 KWPN Stallion Show: A presentation of horses from Verden

This year’s KWPN Stallion Show Powered by Massey Ferguson in ‘s-Hertogenbosch will include a presentation of talented horses from the World Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden! On Friday evening, February 6th, Johan Hamminga will facilitate the performance of several talented combinations in a presentation titled From Verden to Tokyo. A seasoned horseman, Hamminga has been involved for years with selecting and training horses on the path to Verden. The horses in the presentation have all competed in the World Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden and are currently training for a spot in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. We hope to see them excel there in 2020!

Beginning at 20:20 hours, these exceptional dressage horses will showcase their talent in the ring, among them the KWPN stallions Dream Boy (bronze, 2014 World Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses), Dorado (bronze, 2013 World Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses), and the new world champion Dancer (gold, 2014 World Breeding Championships for Young Dressage Horses). In addition to Dreamboy, rider Gerdine Maree will also show TC Athene, who won the 2009 Pavo Cup for four-year-olds. European champion Young Rider Anne Meulendijks will present her top horse President’s MDH Avanti, with whom she captured the Dutch Championship and then won the gold at the European Championships last year. In addition to these medal winners, you’ll enjoy even more talented dressage horses on Friday evening!
