25 June 2013
EEM World, creator and organizer of the most prestigious indoor show jumping competitions in the world including the Gucci Paris Masters and the Longines Hong Kong Masters, officially announced today that the third leg of the Masters Grand Slam Indoor, set to take place in New York in October 2013, will be postponed to 2014.
This decision was taken by EEM World due to complications obtaining confirmation from both the FEI and the USEF of an official date to establish a CSI 5* Masters in the USA. A spokesperson from the organization stated, “We remain committed that the caliber of the U.S. leg of the Masters Grand Slam Indoor will be maintained and fulfilled when the sporting event is rescheduled next year. We will now focus on our two very successful events; the 5th edition of the Gucci Paris Masters scheduled in December 5-8, 2013 and the 2nd edition of the Longines Hong Kong Masters that will take place in February 21-23, 2014.”
An advisory announcing the rescheduled dates of the U.S. leg of the Masters Grand Slam Indoor will be issued in the weeks to come.
