Suisse Olympic rider Marcela Krinke-Susmelj convinced the judges with her excellent performance of the Grand Prix de Dressage competition. Aboard her top mount Smeyers Molberg (x Michellino) she reached 72,255%.

Runner-up was Victoria Max-Theuer from Austria with her elegant Ehrentusch-son Eichendorff, who finished with 71,723%. On Saturday the combination will participate at the final of the Nürnberger Grand Prix Special.

The third place went to quintuple Olympic champion and sixtuple world dressage champion Isabelle Werth (GER), who had saddled her 12-year-old Der Stern OLD (71,511%).
