U.K.: Ben Maher sued in High Court case

According to the Horseandhound website Ben Maher is supposed to owe his sponsor, Mike and Emma Phillips, hundreds of thousands of pounds. The Phillips family is co-owner of Ben Maher’s Olympic gold medal horse Tripple X III. Maher is accused of having embezzled around 800.000 euro taken from purchases and sales of horses. At present, Maher disputes the claim, but has to face a trial before the Supreme Court in London.
