Ten ladies against ten men, that was the program of the Battle of the sexes Longines, a two phases event, 0n Saturday at 10.15 pm. After a close competition, the ladies won the first round by only one point.
Only the first 10 riders of this first round could take part in the second one. It’s again a victory from British Scott Brash with Bon Ami, his 12 years old horse, clearing their round in 41.42 seconds. Already at the top of yesterday’s podium in the Longines Speed Challenge with the same horse, the Olympic champion and European champion by team confirmed his world no. 1 status. The Portuguese rider Luciana Diniz and Upper Star took second place, in front of the ambassador Longines de l’Élégance, Jane Richard-Philips and Dieudonné de Guldenboom for Switzerland.
