Urs Grünig has been chef d’équipe of the Swiss showjumping team for almost four years. Now he surprisingly announced that he will resign from this post due to personal and temporal reasons. Grünig will work until the end of the indoor season end of April. His successor will be Andy Kistler.
With Urs Grünig as coach the Swiss shojumping team finished fourth during the Olympic Games in London last summer and Steve Guerdat became Olympic individual champion.
