4 June 2014
BROMONT is pleased to once again host the 2014 Jaguar Land Rover Bromont CCI3* Three Day Event which will take place June 5 to 8, 2014. Now in its 27th year, this prestigious international event will continue its tradition of presenting the Todd Sandler Challenge at the impressive Bromont Olympic Park, now a finalist and potential host of the 2018 World Equestrian Games.
As usual, Bromont promises to continue its reputation of offering all competitors the best in lush green galloping lanes, challenging cross-country jumps and top-notch installations for our international field of riders and their mounts, all of whom will be vying for prize money along the way.
Still the ONLY 3* FEI Event in Canada, Bromont ranks as one of the very top equestrian events of its type in North America. Derek Di Grazia, one of the world’s foremost cross-country course designers, and current Rolex Kentucky designer and 2010 WEG assistant-designer, will once again be setting the courses, supported by Jay Hambly and his team as course builders.
After great reviews and due to its immediate popularity, Bromont will continue to offer a CIC3* division first introduced last year. The Jaguar Land Rover Bromont CCI3* Three Day Event will also continue to offer CCI1*, CCI2* and CCI3* levels.
Who will win this year and join the list of previous winners including Johnathan Holling in the CCI3*, Karen O’Connor in both the CIC3* and CCI2*, and Buck Davidson Jr. in the CCI1* remains to be seen.
Bromont is the only world-class event in the world to be run on a former Olympic site, and it will remain an exceptional challenge for Event riders looking to measure their skills on a true international venue.
