Germany: Jumping squads announced

As every year around this time the jumping commission of the German Olympic Committee of Equestrian Sport (DOKR), team coach Otto Becker as well as his assistant Heinrich-Hermann Engemann have updated and announced the jumping squads for 2014. The most important change is that Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum does not belong to the ‘Championats’ squad any more, as her top mare Bella Donna had been sold to Qatar. With her second horse Malou the 44-year-old Meredith belongs to the B-squad now. Find below the list of the individual squads:

‘Championats‘ squad:
Christian Ahlmann with Taloubet Z and Codex One,
Ludger Beerbaum with Chaman, Chiara and Zinedine,
Daniel Deußer with Cornet D’Amour and Evita van de Veldbal,
Hans-Dieter Dreher with Embassy II,
Marcus Ehning with Plot Blue and Cornado NRW as well as
Carsten-Otto Nagel with Corradina

B-squad:
Marco Kutscher with Cornet’s Cristallo and Cash,
Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum with Malou,
Lars Nieberg with Leonie W,
Patrick Stühlmeyer with Lacan and Lord Lohengrin,
Philipp Weishaupt with Monte Bellin and Chico as well as
